No one really knows where trucks come from...

Thanks for this submission THEWOOD it is an interesting look at the guts of a truck.  I hope this guy was anethesiazed before going under the knife!  It appears that the snout of this gentle beast is under investigation, most likely for a cleansing and recirculation of fluids.  Trucks do require regular check ups, just like us (and all other biological creatures!) and keeping sanitary and healthful is a sure fire way to guarantee a long and healthy truck life.

Interesting shot of what appears to be two breeds or even sub species not only traveling together as a pack but WITHIN eachother. I say this is a red letter day, we should rejoice and be merry to witness such things in this world! It is always a beautiful sight to see trucks of different nations come together in harmony and sustenance, perhaps we could take a page out of their book, or rather a wheel off their axel ;)

a disappointment

all i can say is that i’ve failed you dear reader.  this morning upon leaving my dwelling i did observe not only a baby momma mammoth hauling a long cylindrical tank of some sort, (perhaps filled with milk???) but immediately behind it a firetruck (painted red, lights off, sirens inactive).  had a camera been accessible pictures would accompany this entry.  many many pictures.  few powers can stop my drive for discovery and had there been any strangers about their cameras would be put to use!  but fate does not allow for all things and this document was simply meant to be unadorned.  for this reason dear reader you will have to take this written account as proof of the sighting.

i shall do my best in the future to provide better documentation and will tirelessly work to discover the truth about trucks.

Saw this sweetie rolling by a church first thing in the AM: was a sight for sore eyes to say the least. This mama daddy is carrying a double load but seems to be hardly sweating. This grace & elegance, displayed even under pressure, is the tenacity found across truck kingdom.

saw this guy just hanging out by a park, not sure why…
hard to see but he’s got some kind of articulated snout extending towards the back, and a very large gullet.  not sure what those apparatuses are for, possibley feeding?
unfortunately there are more questions than answers about trucks.  perhaps one day science will be able to explain more about these beautiful creatures.

Wow!  looks like a family or pack roaming together.  they’ve stopped on this busy city street for what looks like a respite from their journey.  a risky move, with their rear portions extended they’re mobility is diminished and are vulnerable to predators.  perhaps one is sick :(

Sighted this green beauty just truckin’ along on the street.  Truck science isn’t exactly sure whether the rear attachment on this guy is a natural growth or an artificially grafted protrusion.  While we have observed a bifurcated arrangement between truck & carriage (Look forward to that post! — ED.) whether this process and arrangement is initiated by the will of humans or not has not been formally established.

Much respect to Ben P for observing this large marge over on chrystie st in the big apple.  Observing a truck with such a large girth in the wild is rare indeed, how fortuitous!
